Requesting for this necessary document. My current company and its HR cannot provide me a copy of said document which I find disappointing on their part. I will admit that I disregarded/lost these document if I ever I did receive a copy from my company before.

I would really appreciate an assistance for this.

Dear Ruffy Remoreras:

I refer to my letter of Jul 26, 2022 11:24:36 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR form 2316 or my latest Income Tax Return (ITR).

In connection with your request through eFOI Portal pertaining to the request for a copy of BIR Form 2316 as Substitute  Income Tax Return for Taxable Year/s January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2022, kindly send us the Name of your Employer/s for the covering period, Business Address of your Employer/s and Employer/s Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate the tracking number #BIR-048391996112, to respond. We will coordinate and endorse your request to the Revenue District Office (RDO) having jurisdiction over the place of your Employer/s and where they submits their reports.

Please be informed, that BIR Form 2316 for Taxable Year 2022 the RDO gets a hold of the said BIR Form 2316 upon submission of your employer on or before February 28 (per RR 2-2015 as amended by RR 16-2021) of the following year or in your case on or before February 28, 2023. 

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 19, 2022 02:22:30 AM, your request will be closed.
