Hi,

In May 2018, I filed for registration as JO, pursuant to RMC No. 69-2017. In September of the same year, I was promoted to a permanent position. (Note: My ITR is filed annually under substituted filing.)

This year, I was surprised to learn that I am still registered as JO, have open cases, and have to pay for non-filing of taxes. Why? I have been paying taxes as a regular employee. I have copies of my 2316 as proof. Do I really have to pay for such? No one advised me about this before. HR and accounting also refute being advised of such.
