Dear Mr. Ibis,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 10, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request
You asked for Income Tax Return.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your 2316 for 2021 has yet to be filed next year. Moreover, we are also missing from you some vital information as you did not attach two valid IDs with your birthdate and picture as proof of your identity.  hence your request is denied.

However, it is advised that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.
