Hi! I would like to request for my stamped BIR Form 2316 from 2020 and 2021 (TIN: 759940321). I also want to request for TIN verification since the TIN verification application is not currently functional. Thanks!

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 07, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Stamped BIR Form 2316 and TIN Verification.

Response to your request
We were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as it is part of the frontline service of the BIR, hence your request is denied.

In this regard, to personally verify your TIN, we highly advise you to call our Customer Assistance Division (CAD) at telephone numbers: (02)85383200, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays. Furthermore, you may also try using the BIR Mobile TIN Verifier App by downloading this link: (https://play.google.com/store/apps./details?id=com.bir.birrr6manila&&hl=en&gl=US) or thru the App Store for IOS users.

On the other hand, you may also visit the nearest BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) to personally verify your TIN. Please bring any of your government-issued IDs as proof of your identity.

Please be reminded that TIN is confidential information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

On the other hand, It is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made, thus, we would like to advise that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such documents.
