Hi, I would like to request copy of my ITR. I worked for two companies in the Philippines

Dear Ms. Bernaldez,

I refer to my letter of Feb 02, 2022 10:32:57 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return 2009 to 2011 Request for Proof of Employment.
In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. If you are asking for ITR, kindly provide us with the following details (from 2009--2011) and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as this contains sensitive information
-What ITR form did you file? 
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.

However, we would also like to suggest that if you know where you filed your ITR, you may directly request it to the concerned RDO, bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Apr 28, 2022 04:27:01 AM, your request will be closed.

Hi Ms Ana Marie,

I'm currently in Singapore. I worked for two companies before leaving in 2011.

I believe my employers applied this on BIR. When I resigned I didn't received any BIR Form 2316, only my Certificate of Employment.

I'm planning to migrate to Australia and one of the requirements as Proof of Employment is the Philippines is BIR Form 2316. I already contacted my employers and no response from them yet.

Please give me some advice.
