Thank you for your request dated Oct 03, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316.

We received your request on Oct 03, 2022 and will respond on or before Oct 24, 2022 01:40:38 PM, in accordance with the Executive Order's implementing rules and regulations.

Please be informed, that your request for a copies of your BIR Form 2316 for the calendar year 2012 to 2014 cannot be granted by the office concerned - the Regular LT Audit Division III where Chiyoda Philippines Corporation is registered, since the aforesaid Certificates of Withholding taxes were issued in 2012 to 2014 and per records on those periods are already unavailable since the Bureau follow strictly the five (5) year retention period based on existing revenue issuances of the BIR.

What can be provided to you is your request for a copies of BIR Form 2316 for calendar year 2015 and 2016 if your employer has submitted their records.

Your request:

You requested for a copy of your BIR 2316 for the year 2015-2016.

Response to your request:

Based on the reason stated below, we resolve to deny your request as to the following information:   Copy of your ITR for the year 2015-2016.

CY 2016
We regret to inform you that your request cannot be processed because your employer failed to submit a CD of scanned copies of Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld (BIR Form 2316) for the year 2015.

CY 2016
This Office does not have the information you have requested (ITR) since your employer failed to include your BIR Form 2316 in the CD submitted for the year 2016.
