Hi! i would like to request a copy of my filed Bir Form 2316 otherwise known as Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax withheld for the year 2020.

I am Rommel Castro Pangan, with TIN: 213-700-788. employed at Philippine National Police with TIN: 000-088-079. 

I lost my copy of said document. However, i need a copy to support my travel visa application.

Dear Mr. Pangan,

I refer to my letter of Dec 07, 2021 08:05:52 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld.

In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request,  kindly provide us your employer’s TIN, RDO no., business name & address, and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information.

However, you may directly request said form from your previous employer as it is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Mar 02, 2022 04:04:51 AM, your request will be closed.
