Hi,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request a copy of my Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2012-2017.

My name is Carla Angela C. Castanedea, and my tax identification number is 248-838-415-000. I am previous employee at Basic Elements. Inc. I am in need of a copy of my ITR for my Vetassess skills assessment since I am residing at Dubai, UAE.

I would be grateful if you could provide me with a copy of my ITR at the earliest convenience.

Dear Ms. Castaneda:

I refer to my letter of Dec 05, 2023 06:49:32 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Annual Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

In reply, may we respectfully request for the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of your previous employer (Basic Elements Inc.) for us to know the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your previous employer is registered. 

Please be informed also that the Records/files of BIR Form No. 2316 for the Year  (s) 2012 to 2017 were already sent to Archive as it was more than four (4) years of Retention Period per Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 73-2008.

Hence, you may ask for a copy/copies of your BIR Form No. 2316 to your previous employer  because All Taxpayers are required to preserve their accounting records for the period of ten (10) years in accordance with the RMC No. 29-2019.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Feb 28, 2024 08:03:24 AM, your request will be closed.
