Hi,

There was a problem encountered when I tried to transfer my current RDO to my current address. The BIR Cainta told me that my TIN number was invalid, however, I already used it to several companies now it's just that my new company is asking it as one of my requirements.

Can you please advise what I can do next as they said I need to ask my new company to issue me a TIN number but BIR Marikina (where I processed my TIN) told me prior to it that there will be a penalty if I wil get another TIN number.

Please advise.

This is in connection with your request for information, with tracking number ____________________, for the ______________________.

After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the reason that Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of Sensitive Personal Information that is bounded by the Republic Act (RA) No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and as such, it is not advisable to be uploaded in the FOI Portal because this is a public website.

You can now retrieve and/or verify your Taxpayer Identification Number TIN and Revenue District Office (RDO) Code through Revie’s TIN Inquiry Module. 

Revie can be accessed on the BIR website at https://www.bir.gov.ph.
