Atienza, a 4th year BSBA-MM student from Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo City Campus, and I would like to request for the total number of registered printing business in San Pablo City Laguna together with the products that they offer. This is for our undergraduate thesis (Discount Pricing Strategies and Its Influence on the Annual Income Sales Among Printing Shop in San Pablo City, Laguna). Thank you!

You asked for The total number of registered printing business in San Pablo City Laguna.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

Please be informed, that, pursuant to the provision of Executive Order No. 2, otherwise known as Freedom of Information (FOI) was issued to operationalize the Constitutional Provisions on full public disclosure of all State transactions involving public interests and the right of the people to information on matters of public concern. However, Memorandum Circular No. 89 issued on September 13, 2021 enumerated exceptions to the right to access information. It includes information deemed confidential for the protection of privacy of persons and certain individuals. 

In relation thereto, please note that we are only able to provide  the trade names of the list of accredited printers. 

Please be informed, further, that list of accredited printers are also available for viewing in the BIR Official Website.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to RDO No, 55-East Laguna with email address at rdo_55css@bir.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
