The following data are needed to conclude the effectivity of the provisions of Bayanihan I, Bayanihan II and CREATE Act in helping businesses to cope up with the impact of COVID-19 Pandemic as regards taxation is concerned:
1. Retired businesses in the year 2019 and 2020; and 
2. Population of late filers of the 2019 Annual Income Tax Return despite the extension provided by law.

You asked for The number of retired businesses in the year 2019.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested on the following:

1.) Retired Businesses in the year 2019 and 2020 - this can be requested from the Local Government Unit (LGU) subject to the LGU approval if the same has no prejudice under Data Privacy Act;
2. We do not population on the non-filers of 2019 Annual Income Tax Return.
