I'm almost done processing my Annual ITR - Short Period (Job Order Closure) and was supposed to have all documents including the BIR FORM 1701-A handed over to the Assessment Section of BIR RDO 082. This was around 4:38PM. I was told by the attending specialist "Jing-Jing" that I would still have to request the Collections Section to Receive the form and have it stamped. 

I went to the Collections Section at  4:42PM and waited for 10 minutes only to be told that the new ruling of BIR that if the 1701-A is "Zero-Payment" it does not require the stamp. But, the Assessment Section closed already

The events were cut short bec. this section has limit in characters, so at the Collections Section, I was told that if I would really want the Collections Section to receive and stamp on my 1701-A, I would still have to write a request letter asking their section to do so, thus I was unable to catch up with their cut off.

This happened 6/22/2023 and I will be back at the office on 6/23/2023 and hopefully all goes well. I also hope BIR RDO 082 can have their sections organize their processes so as not to mislead or misinform or worse, confuse us citizens.
