Dear Ms. Ortega:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 14, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for BIR Verification Slip.

Response to your request

After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the following reasons:

1. The request falls outside the scope of the FOI program (i.e. the request is a front-line/government service of the agency, etc.); 

2. TIN and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of sensitive personal information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and is not advisable to be uploaded in the FOI Portal because this is a public website.

You may advised Mr. and Mrs. Penaflor to secure a TIN Verification Slip at the nearest BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) and bring two (2) valid government-issued I.D.s containing the photograph and signature as proof of their identity for validation purpose. 

And, if the request is made through representative, a Special Power of Attorney of the requesting party (principal) and at least two (2) valid government IDs containing the photograph and signature of the representative and the principal shall be presented.
