Hi, I would like to clarify/ask if there's a possibility that I will be refunded of my CGT/DST payment.

I bought a 220 sqm vacant lot property in last Sept 2022. As agreed with the seller, I (as the buyer) will shoulder all the expenses (DST/CGT etc).

Per computation and payment, I paid Php31,020 (CGT) and Php7,755.00 (DST). Amount is based on Zonal Value (higher bet SP/MV/ZV).

Per Onett, he used the zonal value of a different location. He used Php2,350 Zonal Value  instead of Php1,350.00.

In reply, please be informed that you can make your representation (in writing) to the Revenue District Office (RDO) that has jurisdiction over the place of the property and where  your Electronic Certificate Authorizing Registration (eCAR) was issued in order for them to assess and evaluate if you are entitled for a tax refund for overpayment of your Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) Transaction.
