I refer to my letter of May 10, 2023 04:22:43 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of Registered Businesses in Davao Region by Major Industry Group (2009 PSIC), 2017-2022.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query.  We would like to be clarified if you are a student-researcher?  If you are a student, we request you to kindly submit the following as part of the requirements:
1.  Your valid School ID
2.  Indorsement of your supervising teacher/professor/instructor

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Aug 07, 2023 03:45:41 AM, your request will be closed.

Thank you for your response to our letter clarifying that you are not a student researcher and by sending us a scanned copy of your company ID to prove that you are connected with NEDA.   

To facilitate your request on the Number of Registered Businesses in Davao Region by Major Industry Group (2009 PSIC), 2017-2022, we would appreciate it if you can also send us a written authority signed by the Head of NEDA, e.g. Regional Director, where you are currently doing an in-house research for, in order for us to establish that this request is authorized by their office.  

In addition, to facilitate the generation of data, it will also help if you can provide us with your preferred template/format to ensure that what we will be providing you are the Major Industry Group classifications that suit your need.

I refer to my letter of May 18, 2023 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of Registered Businesses in Davao Region by Major Industry Group (2009 PSIC), 2017-2022. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.

As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Aug 10, 2023.

You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
