Hi, I would like to request for my ITR form 2316 for the year 2017 as a proof of my TIN as a requirement for my pre-employment.

Dear Ms. Bernardo,

I refer to my letter of Dec 10, 2021 12:21:19 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for ITR form 2316.

In order for us to work further on your request, kindly provide us your employer’s TIN, RDO no., business name & address and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information:

You may also directly request this from your employer as they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

On the otherhand, you may also personally request these to the concerned RDO and bring two valid IDs for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.  

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Mar 04, 2022 04:50:16 AM, your request will be closed.
