I refer to my letter of Nov 16, 2023 04:22:28 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

In reply, please be informed that we inquired in the BIR system and you are registered as Professional, the filing of Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) is your personal obligation and can be filed through the Electronic BIR Forms Package (downloadable at the BIR website, www.bir.gov.ph) or manually at the Revenue District Office (RDO) where you are registered.

For assistance, email sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-181310075453, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Feb 08, 2024 12:29:23 AM, your request will be closed.

I just changed my registration to a self-employed professional this year. During the years requested, I was still an employee earning purely compensation income.

Is this request offensive?
