Dear Mr. Sanchez,

I refer to my letter of Sep 08, 2021 04:41:38 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us the following details for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned RDO and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph as these are sensitive information:
-	What ITR did you file from 2020? Was it 1700 or 1701? 
-	Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-	Your TIN
-	Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. 

Furthermore,  an employee whose income tax has been correctly withheld by your employer is not required to file an income tax return provided that such individual has only one employer and has been qualified for substituted filing for the taxable year - the Certificate of Withholding filed by the respective employers, duly stamped "Received" by the Bureau, shall be tantamount to the filing of income tax returns by said employees.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec 01, 2021 04:03:20 AM, your request will be closed.
