Hi, would like to request a copy of BIR Form 2316 for Year 2022. I do have a copy for year 2023 as my contract is terminated but the one I need is for 2022.

Dear Mr. Gapate:

I refer to my letter of Oct 03, 2023 07:28:38 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form No. 2316.

Relatively to your request for a copy of your BIR Form No. 2316 for Calendar Year 2022, it can be obtained through your employer as they are obligated to furnish every employee's a copy of the form/certificate as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as your Annual Income Tax Return per Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.

For other concern, email sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-223979190235, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec 27, 2023 01:42:48 AM, your request will be closed.
