Dear Mr. Lee:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Mar 03, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Certified True Copy of BIR 2316 for 2022.

Response to your request

we been calling your mobile number today, March 3, to validate your exiting eFOI request, however, it was unsuccessful.

Please be informed, If you need a Certified True Copy (CTC) of your BIR Form 2316 for the Year 2022, you may personally or through your authorized representative file your request to the Revenue District Office (RDO) having jurisdiction over the place of your employer, kindly bring the original copy of the return and a photocopy of your ITR and/or BIR Form 2316.

You can also ask your employer a Copy of the Duly Received “Annex F” (Proof that your employer came to Revenue District Office) and have the Certified List of Employees Qualified for Substituted Filing of ITR & Scanned Copies of BIR Form 2316 of their employees who availed of substituted filing last February 28, 2023.

Please bear the inconvenience, if the concerned RDO will not be able to immediately grant your request for a CTC since it was only three (3) days after the filing due date, that the concerned RDO will be preparing for a Certified List/File received not only from your employer but to their other client/taxpayers as well.

Any request for certification that may be requested by a taxpayer from the RDO on matters relating to its registration shall be charged with a fee in an amount not exceeding one hundred pesos (P100.00), in addition to the documentary stamp tax imposed under Section 188 of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.
Thank you.

Respectfully yours,

FOI Receiving Officer
