November 3, 2023 Dear Ms. Feliciano: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Nov 01, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for The number of EBIR Form Users in Tarlac City. Response to your request In reply, please be informed that a similar request was been filed before and was denied by the Revenue District Office (RDO) No. 17A-Tarlac City for the reason stated below: "Section 270 of NIRC of the 1997, as amended, BIR personnel cannot divulge information of taxpayers concerning the latter’s business. and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 clearly provides the data of an individual or business shall never be collected, processed, or given without his or her consent, unless otherwise provided by the law. unfortunately, we cannot give the requested information as the district is not allowed and permitted to divulge such information".
