Im requesting my latest BIR Income tax return. Requirements for Housing Application in the city of Manila.

Dear Mr. Padasas:

I refer to my letter of Jul 18, 2023 03:22:01 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

We would like to know if you have a business? or An Employee for the period covered/calendar year 2022 to 2023?

If you are employed, your EMPLOYER is required to issue/provide you a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2022 to 2023 pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that the taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).

Kindly coordinate with your employer in case you were not able to receive a copy of your BIR Form No. 2316 for the Year 2022 to 2023.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 10, 2023 11:37:27 PM, your request will be closed.
