Hi! We would like to request for the financial statements of the municipality of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya that includes the following year:

   - The fiscal Year of 2019
   - The fiscal Year of 2020
   - The fiscal Year of 2021

This is for the purpose of realizing the feasibility of the cityhood of Solano.

As prescribed by the Republic Act No. 11683, a municipality must have an annual income of at least 400 Million pesos. I need to find out if that is the case.

Response to your request

Please be informed, that your request cannot be given due course/did not qualify in the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Chapter VI-Standard Procedure for FOI Requests, Sections 21.2, quoted as follows:

Section 21.2 The purpose of the request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as "for information", "for research", "for legal purpose", or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirement of specificity. Failure to specify the reason for or purpose of the request for information shall be a ground for denial of the eFOI request.

In view hereof, we regret to inform you that your request has been denied due to the aforecited reason. Further, our Office does not have the Financial Statements (FS) of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. 

You may coordinate with the Municipality of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya (solano.gov.ph) and see if they can provide you a copy of their Financial Statements (FS) without prejudice to 
 “Data Privacy Act of 2012”,
