TIN Application Inquiry

Requested from BIR by C. Tigue at 03:10 PM on Sep 13, 2022.
Purpose: File and Get Tax Identification Number from RDO 47
Date of Coverage: 09/13/2022 - 09/13/2022
Tracking no: #BIR-238207171252

Tigue 03:10 PM, Sep 13, 2022

Dear Sir/Madam,

Good day!

I am a new employee of a registered company in RDO 47. I'm writing to inquire if I can send someone to file and get my tax identification number for me in RDO 47, accompanied by an authorization letter, as I am currently residing here in Bicol and can't possibly go to the respective BIR office immediately. In addition, what are the other requirements needed to be brought by my authorized representative to accomplish getting my TIN?

Thank you.

Your Request

You asked for TIN Application Inquiry.

Response to Request

Per our phone conversation yesterday (September 13, 2022), you were apprised that Application of TIN for Individuals registering with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for the first (1st) time by reason of employment may register either:

1. Online through your EMPLOYER using BIR e-Registration (eREG) System;
2. Manual Processing of TIN to the Revenue District Office having jurisdiction over the place of Office of the Principal EMPLOYER where such employee is expected to report for work (still through your company liaison /authorized representative).

Step by step guide can be viewed by your EMPLOYER under BIR Citizen Charter 2021 Edition (www.bir.gov.ph) pages 22-29.

Thank you.

Respectfully yours,

FOI Officer
