Dear Ms. Tud,

I refer to my letter of Oct. 05, 2021, 07:34:46 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us the following details and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph as these are sensitive information:
-	What ITR did you file for 2020? Was it 1700 or 1701? 
-	Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-	Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. 

Furthermore, if you have been employed and your income tax has been correctly withheld by your employer, you are not required to file an income tax return, provided, that you have only one employer and have been qualified for substituted filing for the taxable year - the Certificate of Withholding filed by your employer, duly stamped "Received" by the Bureau, shall be tantamount to the filing of income tax returns

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec. 28, 2021, 08:01:42 AM, your request will be closed.
