To whom it may concern:

Good day!

May I ask po if there is a VAT transferred to household consumers with regards to installation of solar system in Residential Houses from a VAT-registered installation company. Is it zero-rated or not?

You asked for VAT on Sale and Installation of Solar Panel/System in Residential.

Please be informed of the follwoing:

1. Opo, Pass on Tax (Indirect Tax) po ang Value-Added Tax (VAT);
2. Whether Zero-Rated or Not ang company sa kanilang tax type na makikita sa kanilang Certificate of Registration (COR), and Local Distributor po ito..in most cases, hindi po ito pwedeng ma consider as Zero-rated.. (sale of goods-solar panels).
