Greetings!

hank you for your request dated Jul 22, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request: You asked for The Taxes Paid by the Pharmaceutical Industry from 2011-2021.

Please be informed that the information cited in your request did not qualify in the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Chapter VI-Standard Procedure for FOI Requests, Section 13.3, quoted as follows:

Sec. 13.3 The purpose of the request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as "for information", "for research", "for legal purpose", or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specifity. Failure to specify the reason for or purpose of the request for information shall be ground for denial of the FOI request.

In view hereof, we regret to inform you that your request has been denied due to the aforecited reason. Furthermore, each tax type per industry/business has specific requirements regarding how they are able to pay their respective tax obligations to the district office where they are registered and may be restricted by rules under Section 270 of the the NIRC of 1997, as amended and Data Privacy Act of 2012.
