Dear Mr. Advincula:

I refer to my letter of Jun 02, 2023 07:38:50 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request copy of income tax return.

In reply, if you are an Employee for the period of 2020 to 2021, your EMPLOYER is required to issue a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2022 to 2023 pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that your taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).

Kindly coordinate with your employer if you have not receive a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2020 to 2021 (in case your employment with them has been terminated).

For other concern, kindly email vanessa.badeo@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-290779382488, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Aug 28, 2023 02:21:58 AM, your request will be closed.

good afternoon..I did receive a copy of my tax return..unfortunately i am no longer with my employer for i am currently working outside of the philippines and i left my copy on my locker on my previous employer..

In reply, kindly lodge another request ticket on your request for a copies of your BIR Form No. 2316 from Calendar Year 2020 to 2021.

The same shall be endorse/d to the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer is/are registered.
