Greetings!

This is in connection with your request dated May 15, 2023, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Response to Request

We have received your request for certified true copies of your Income Tax Return (ITR) 1701 from the years 2018 to 2022. We would like to inform you that we only have a copy of your ITR for the year 2021 on file. Unfortunately, we do not have a record of your ITR for the years 2018 to 2020 and 2022.

When we called you on the phone to verify your request, you informed us that you no longer need the certified true copies of your ITRs because you have already refiled them. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter. As such, we consider your FOI request as closed and successful.

If you are not satisfied with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Sairen Khay Balatbat at sairen.khay.balatbat@bir.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
