Hi!

I would like to request a filled-out BIR Form 2316 or Income Tax Return that I could submit to my employer's HR Department. This will also be needed as part of the requirements of my new employer.

Thank you for your request dated Dec 02, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for BIR Form 2316 / Income Tax Return (ITR) Request.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your ITR and BIR Form 2316 for 2021 is yet to be filed on April 15 next year. 

Thus, we would like to advise that you may directly request from your employer a copy of your 2316 as they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made
