1. The number/data of BIR entrapment that happened in the last 5 years (2017-2022). 

2. The number/data of reported cases subject to BIR entrapment.

I refer to my letter of Feb 08, 2023 09:35:09 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR entrapment that happened in the last 5 years.

We would like to clarify some details on your request since it is vague in nature:

1. What kind of Entrapment or Enforcement Law Activities are you referring to?
2. Kindly define what kind of Entrapment in particular goods/services?

Hi, 

To clarify, the entrapment operation of the NBI against the BIR employees who were asking money from taxpayers under BIR Audit. 

Just the data of it, would suffice -- like numbers of entrapped BIR employees.

You asked for BIR entrapment that happened in the last 5 years.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information on the number of Entrapment Operation conducted by the Bureau of National Investigation (NBI).

It is more appropriate that your concern be course through with the proper agency which is the National Bureau of Investigation.
