Hi! I would like to request a copy of my BIR 2316 Form (Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld) for the year 2020.

Dear Mr. Lajata,

I refer to my letter of Oct 14, 2021 02:51:25 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR 2316 Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld.

Moreover, please be informed that your 2020 BIR Form No. 2316 (Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld) should be issued by your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.
thus you may directly request from your employer the said document.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Ana Marie Du
