Dear Ms. Panganiban,
I refer to my letter of July 10, 2021 06:26:42 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Please provide us your employer’s TIN, business name & address, and email it @ ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph, for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned RDO.
However, you may ask for this form from your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee if employment is terminated before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct. 01, 2021, 12:33:23 PM, your request will be closed.

Greetings!
please be informed that we have already forwarded your request to the District's collection Section for verification and retrieval of BIR Form 2316, if possible. the filing of BIR Form 2316 is done through online submission by the employer, which, only National Office has access to. however, the employer are required to submit hard copy to the district for stamping purposes.
in case the employer submitted the same, we can provide you with a certified true copy of BIR Form 2316, after payment of cert fee.
we will immediately update you once collection section gets back to us.
