Good afternoon. 
I would like to request for a copy of my ITR as required for my application of a single parent ID. 

Please just let me know if there is anything needed from my end to proceed. Thank you.

Dear Stephanie Jose:

I refer to my letter of Jul 25, 2022 06:16:29 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, Requesting for Income Tax Return (ITR) and/or BIR Form 2316 Copy.

Per our phone conversation this July 26, 2022 at 1:30 P.M, we will be tagging your request as Awaiting Clarification and kindly provide us the Name of your Employer for the taxable period/s of  2010-2012, Employer Business Address and Employer's Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for us to endorse your concern to the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer is registered and where they submits BIR reports/returns. Email the needed information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-#BIR-342355245817, to respond.

Please be informed also, that our RDO can deny your request for the following instances, 1.) the RDO does not have custody of the information you requested; 2.) If your employer submitted its employees Form 2316 for the year 2020, however, your name was not included in the list of employees that are qualified for substituted filing; 3.) If your Employer has not submitted BIR Form 2316 at the RDO. However, please be informed also, that the mandatory submission of Employees’ BIR Form 2316 in lieu of the Income Tax Return (ITR), “who are qualified for substituted filing” by the employers started the year 2013, reference-based in RR No. 11-2013 and further amended by RR 2-2015.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 18, 2022 05:28:38 AM, your request will be closed.

We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.
