In reply, we were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as it is part of the frontline service of the BIR, hence your request is denied.

You may adopt other measures to ensure that Section 270 of the 1997 Tax Code, as amended, and Republic Act 10173 are not violated, to personally verify your TIN, we highly advise you to call our Customer Assistance Division (CAD) at telephone numbers: (02) 85383200, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays. Furthermore, you may also try using the BIR Mobile TIN Verifier App by downloading this link: (https://play.google.com/store/apps./details?id=com.bir.birrr6manila.

On the other hand, you may also visit the nearest BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) to personally verify your TIN. Please bring any of your government-issued IDs as proof of your identity.
