Dear Ms. Nerbes:

I refer to my letter of Feb 02, 2024 04:30:03 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Bureau of internal revenue.

This is in connection with your request for information, with reference number #BIR-384200290070, for the Request for a Copy of Income Tax Return.

After careful consideration, copies of Income Tax Return (ITR) can be requested from the Revenue District Office (RDO) where the same was filed and/or submitted or to the RDO where your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is registered. You just have to submit a Signed Letter Request for the purpose. 

However, if you are referring to BIR Form No. 2316, the same shall have to be requested from your EMPLOYER since the same is the One Mandated by Law to Prepare and Provide to the Concerned Employee/s pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 10-2008.
