I would like to request a copy of my BIR form 2316 years 2018 and 2020. This is from my previous employer. The purpose of this request is for Migration purposes.

Dear Ms. Labo:

I refer to my letter of Oct 30, 2022 04:07:38 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316 (YEAR 2018 and 2020).

Kindly provide us the following data in order for us to evaluate your requested information:
1. Your Tax Identification Number (TIN);
2. Name of your Employer/s for the aforesaid period;
3. TIN of your Employer/s; and
4. Address of your Employer.

Your employer’s submission of their Employees’ BIR Form 2316 should have been done in the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer is registered. In this case, you may also ask your former employer/s for the copy/ies of your Certificate of Compensation Payment/ Tax Withheld (BIR Form 2316) because all taxpayers are required to preserve their accounting records for the period of 10 years in accordance with the Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 29-2019.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jan 26, 2023 12:59:31 AM, your request will be closed.
