I would like to request a complete and thorough information about import permits in relation to the shipment of a starlink satellite wifi equipment

1) the law and its IRR in which the import permit is based on
2) related department orders affecting the process of applying for an import permit
3) current process as to how to apply for an import permit
4) all customs forms that need to be accomplished in applying for a proper import permit

Greetings!

You asked for import permit regarding starlink shipment.

Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-enabled electronic devices/gadgets are NTC-regulated equipment. Meaning, these are subject to NTC rules and regulations whether for personal use or for commercial purposes. Thus, an Import Permit must be secured from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) before actually importing these products.

For the necessary permits/clearances/licenses to be secured and its procedures can be accessed through this link: https://www.pntr.gov.ph/wireless-lans/.
