I would like to request for the number of application for registration filed with the BOI each year from 2009-2018, of which how many were approved and how many were not.

Dear Mr. Moralejo,

This pertains to your request for information on the number of application filed and approved/disapproved by the BOI Board.

Please be informed that we can only provide you the number of application filed which are approved by the Board since 2009 - 2019 October totalling about 3,581.   Other than applications received from industries, the number also included applications for the operations of regional headquarters/operating headquarters, applicants of Special Investors Residence Visa (SIRV), qualifications for foreign retailers, applications under Motor Vehicle Development Program (MVDP) etc. 

Please be informed further, that the BOI approved applications is per project basis not by firm.  Marami kasing company na multi projects like SMDC, Robinsons Land Corp,, Property Company of Friends, San Miguel Corporation, Cebu Air, Inc., Philippine Airlines, among others.
