Dear Chin-Chin Mirhan,

In response to your request dated Feb 23, 2020 for Historical Demand and Supply data for Low-cost Housing in the Philippines, please see attached information culled from The Philippine Housing Industry Roadmap update of 2016.

As regards to your request for the number of low cost housing developers in the country, we regret that we do not have such information - but you may request said information from the newly created Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), formerly HUDCC.

As an additional information, I wish to share to you that as of February 2020, the Board of Investments has already registered around 1,445 economic and low cost housing projects (not companies/developers) - one developer may have multiple registered housing projects either subdivisions or condominiums or both types of projects.

I hope this information will be useful to you.
