Good morning. I'm JL Dimayuga from UP Diliman. I'm currently finishing my thesis on Remittances and would like to compare it to fiscal impact using the same model.

May I request for the following data:
1. Government Tax Revenue (in current prices PHP) - monthly frequency (1990-2017)
2. Government total expenditure (in current prices PHP) - monthly frequency (1990-2017)

Response to your request

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from www.treasury.gov.ph, go to the statistics tab under the National Government Cash Operations. Detailed monthly revenue and expenditure data are available up to 1986.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Deputy Treasurer Sharon P. Almanza (spalmanza@treasury.gov.ph). Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
