I am a Research Specialist from the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC). PSSC is seeking to update our database to include specific data sets, published studies, and other knowledge by-products. 

In line with this, I would like to request the following:

1) Debt and investment data for 2016-2021;

2) A point person from the specific office/agency that holds the information I requested. 

Request #1 will be used for PSSC's information database. Meanwhile, request #2 will be used in corresponding with the office/agency managing the information.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is partially approved. The requested information on debt data can be accessed through our website: www.treasury.gov.ph (https://www.treasury.gov.ph/?page_id=12407).

Further queries on statistics can be addressed through the following:

Unfortunately, we cannot provide data on NG investments in financial instruments as this constitutes an exception to FOI disclosure as it may prejudice the NG's position. As to other investments, these are better addressed by other agencies such as the DBM.
