Hi! I'm a 5th year student from the University of Santo Tomas College of Architecture. For the partial fulfillment of the degree, I am currently conducting a research on my undergraduate thesis proposal entitled “Center for Talent Development in Philippine Entertainment Industry.

I would like to request for information regarding:

1. The number of Filipino musicians, dancers and actors in Metro Manila.
2. The number of  talents ( musicians, dancers and actors) who are undiscovered, developing, mid-sized, mainstream and megastar.
3. The growth of Philippine Entertainment Industry

Thank you for your request for information regarding the statistics of professional Filipino musicians in the Philippines under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact the National Committee on Music of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) at 527-2192 or visit their website at ncca.gov.ph. Please be noted that the NCCA may have or may not have the information you need.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to presidentccp@yahoo.com.ph Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
