Dear Ms. Aquino:

Greetings from the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO)!

This refers to your request for data on Filipino tourists overseas by most visited countries.

We regret that we are unable to provide the information requested since data on Filipinos leaving the Philippines as tourists are not collected by the CFO. The CFO’s primary clientele are Filipino emigrants who will permanently live in other countries and are required to undergo the CFO’s Pre-departure Orientation Seminars or Guidance and Counseling Program before departure.

In the event that they do travel abroad as tourists, they still have to go through the Philippine’s Bureau of Immigration (BI) upon their departure. The BI therefore may be the appropriate authority to provide you with the information that you need. The BI’s main office may be reached via their hotline at 465-2400, or for a more detailed directory you may visit this page in their website: http://www.immigration.gov.ph/contact-us/main-office
