Dear Ms. Corbe,
This refers to your data request regarding the statistical profile of registered Filipino emigrants.
As the CFO’s primary clientele are the emigrants who will permanently live in other countries, we are pleased to provide you in the attached file the number of CFO-registered Filipino emigrants from 1981 to 2018. These numbers include annual statistics on Filipinos who underwent the CFO’s mandatory Pre-departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) for emigrants, or Guidance and Counseling Program (GCP) for spouses or partners of foreign nationals prior to their departure.
We are also pleased to share with you the link to the CFO’s Compendium of Statistics on International Migration which features the yearly stock estimates of overseas Filipinos, the number of registered Filipino emigrants, spouses and partners of foreign nationals, US Exchange Visitor Program (EVP) participants, Au Pairs, and data on financial and material contributions of overseas Filipinos to the Philippines coursed through the CFO's Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino (LINKAPIL) program.

The primary sources for the stock estimate in 2013 are the registration data of emigrants and other clientele of the CFO (for permanent migrants), overseas employment data from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (for temporary migrants), and consolidated reports (including irregular migrants) from the more than eighty Foreign Service posts of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
