Hi, I want to investigate how the local economy of Molo (Iloilo) has changed as a result to emigration. I would need data on:

1) How the population of Molo has changed from year 1990 up until now + due to emigration

2) Has the emigration from Molo decreased the local economy of Iloilo? 

3)  Would it be possible to provide some information on how much OFW’s from Molo earn on average each year?

4) Emigrating college graduates from Molo.

I am open to any additional information concerning this topic, as it would be relevant and helpful for my research project.

Greetings!

Thank you for your information request regarding specific emigrant information about Molo, Iloilo.
 
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we cannot entirely completely provide your request because the CFO doesn’t collect specific information as requested. Unfortunately the CFO does not collect information upto the district level and those from Molo will be counted under Iloilo City as one of its district. However, we can provide you with information about the number of emigrants from other cities and municipalities in the province, as can be seen in the attached document. Please note that these are emigrants who have undergone the CFO’s Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (for immigrant visa holders) or the Guidance and Counseling Program (for spouses of foreign nationals). It may also include those who are exempted from the above seminars (minors and senior citizens at the time of registration) before their departure from the Philippines. 

We are also pleased to share with you the contact information of Mr. Mario Nillos, the Head of the Provincial Planning and Development Office of the province of Iloilo who may be in the best position to provide you with the information that you need.
