We would like to request for updated stock estimates of Filipinos overseas (2014 to present). Only information up to 2013 is available online. 

The information will be used to look into the decline  in the net factor income from abroad.

Dear Mr. Leomo,

Greetings from the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO)!

Please be advised that we have discontinued the Stock Estimate of Filipinos Overseas. The 2013 release is the last one that we produced. To ensure policy coherence with other government agencies, we rely on data produced by the Department of Foreign Affairs on matters pertaining to overseas Filipinos.

However, the CFO data on registered Filipino emigrants, Exchange Visitor Program participants, and au pairs are updated annually, and may be accessed in the Statistics Section https://cfo.gov.ph/statistics-2/. Please also note that because of the limited workforce and resources brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, and in addition to the adjustments to the delivery of CFO’s frontline services, emigrant registration data for 2020-2021 is still currently undergoing the process of verification as part of CFO’s data quality management procedures.

For questions or clarifications, you may contact Mr. Frencel Tingga of the CFO’s Policy, Planning, and Research Division directly at ftingga@cfo.gov.ph to walk you through these references from CFO.
