My name is Aileen G. Zaballero. I am a PhD Candidate at The Pennsylvania State University in Department of Learning Performance Systems pursuing a dual-title doctorate in Workforce Development and Comparative International Education.

I am researching the migration of skilled healthcare professionals and the effects on the Philippines healthcare system and domestic workforce, with a focus on returning and circular migration. Key question: what is the "pull" factor to have healthcare migrants return home?
