Hello,

I hope all is well. Thank you for helping me with my credit report concern. I just would like to ask for your assistance regarding my ticket number #CIC-065736430247.

CIBI already reached out to me and we have completed the entire process. They send me a copy of my credit report however, it indicated that my name did not have any CIC file on record. I find this weird since I have been a cardholder to several banks for more than a decade.

I hope you could assist me on this matter.

Thank you,
John Yasis

Hi, John.

May we know which financial institutions you have transactions with so we can check if they are part of CIC's submitting entities (meaning that they are already submitting live or actual credit data of their borrowers to the CIC database)?

You may also check the list of CIC's submitting entities here: https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/list-submitting-entities-production

Thank you and best regards,

Hi,

These Banks were: BPI, HSBC, Unionbank, Security Bank and Bankard (RCBC). I also had Postpaid Lines under PLDT, Globe, Smart, Skycable and Sun Cellular.

I understand that not all of them may have been submitting data, but it’s puzzling that even the big banks like BPI and HSBC isn’t showing up on CIC, and even on my TransUnion report. I hope you could help me on this so I could properly monitor my credit rating.

Thank you and God Bless.

Dear John Yasis,

Greetings!

All the banks mentioned are already submitting entities of the Credit Information Corporation (meaning that they are already submitting live or actual credit data of their clients to the CIC database - you may check the full list here: https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/list-submitting-entities-production), while utility companies and telcos are yet to submit credit data to the corporation.

For financial institutions that are submitting entities of the CIC, you may file a dispute online through the CIC’s Online Dispute Resolution Process (ODRP) at https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/dispute/

However, if the financial institution is not yet a submitting entity, you may send an email to legal@creditinfo.gov.ph with subject line FI IS NOT IN THE CIC LIST to initiate the dispute.

We will likewise send you an email to johnalbert.yasis@icloud.com to walk you through the process.

Thank you for your support.

Respectfully,

CIC FOI Decision Maker
