Somebody used my wife's name as co maker at RCBC bank. It was found out in the CIC report. I would like to have a good clarifications because the Rizal Commercial bank corporation RCBC denied it during visits. They told me that perhaps it is just coincidence with the same name of my wife.

Response to Request

The procedure in filing of a dispute are as follows:

1. If there are erroneous, incomplete, outdated or misleading credit information in the credit report, you may file a dispute with CIC through our Online Dispute Resolution Process (ODRP) which can be accessed at https://www.creditinfo.gov.ph/online-dispute-resolution-process-0
2. The dispute should be filed within thirty (30) calendar days from the acquisition of the Credit Report or the TRN. 
3. The Disputer must fill-out all the relevant fields, including the TRN as it appears in the Credit Report, and the e-mail address which is the same e-mail address used in obtaining the Credit Report.
4. If the Credit Report was drawn, accessed or obtained for more than thirty (30) calendar days, the Disputer must obtain a new Credit Report from the CIC or SAE, and then proceed with the filing of the Dispute. 
5. Any errors in filling out the ODRS Form that prevents the SE from contacting the Disputer may be a basis for the termination of the dispute resolution process.

Your right to request a review

If you are dissatisfied with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to our President and CEO, Ben Joshua Baltazar at cichelpdesk@creditinfo.gov.ph with the following subject head: [CIC - EFOI Request Review].

Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and notify you of the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
